There is a mystery here as to the parents of Alexander. Here is the story:

Alexander's dad is Thomas ARUNDEL he was married to an unknown HOWARD. They move to a different country then the USA. There was a scandal and Mrs. ARUNDEL came back to the USA and the children's names were changed back to HOWARD.

First Generation 1. Alexander HOWARD Sr. was born in 1700 in Spotsylvania co., VA. He Livedin Amelia Co., VAin 1752 He died CA1752 in Spotsylvania co., VA. Alexander HOWARD Sr. and Joahana TRIPPELS were married on 27 Nov 1727 in Spotsylvania co., VA. Joahana TRIPPELS was born in 1707. She died in 1759 in Plains, Greenville Co., SC. Alexander HOWARD Sr. and Joahana TRIPPELS had the following children:   2 i. James HOWARD was buried in Putman Church, Union Co. SC. 3 ii. Thomas? HOWARD was born. +4 iii. John HOWARD Rev. (born in 1728). +5 iv. Peter HOWARD (born in 1738). +6 v. Alexander HOWARD Jr. (born in 1732).
