With ancestors that were Wine Makers and Tobacconists, no wonder I am corrupted!!! LOL; My Grandmother Rosabella CALLAWAY married my Grandfather William Alvin WHISENAND. Rosabella's 'Rose' grandfather was a Tobacconists. William's ancestors were wine maker's.
Edward Callaway and his wife Hannah (Kathleen) Purr stayed in London, England as did their girls. Edward the oldest son came to the US and settled in New Jersey, while the younger son William (my ancestor) came to Nebraska.

1.  Edward CALLAWAY was born in 1790 in St George, Somerset, England.  In 1871 he was a Superintendent Pilot in St George, Somerset, England.  He died in Dec 1871 in Greenwich, Lower Marsh, London, England.  In 1894 he was a Mariner RN, powder monkey.

Edward CALLAWAY and Sarah CALLAWAY were married about 1815 in Lower Marsh, London, England.  Sarah CALLAWAY was born in 1794 in St. George, Somerset, England.  She died in Sep 1875 in Bedminster District, England.  Edward CALLAWAY and Sarah CALLAWAY had the following children:

2.  Edward William CALLAWAY II ? was born on 19 Jul 1820 in Lower Marsh, London, England.  In 1849 he was a Mariner.  He appeared in the census in 1891.  He died in Mar 1898 in Greenwich, Lower Marsh, London, England.  He was buried in Nunhead Cemetery, So. East London.  He was a Tobacconist.

Edward William CALLAWAY II ? and Hannah Kathleen 'Kitty' PURR were married in Sep 1849 in Lambeth, Surrey County, England.  Hannah Kathleen 'Kitty' PURR (daughter of Henry PURR and Jane PRYKE) was born in 1830 in Westminister, Eng..  She appeared in the census in 1901 in 28 Brand St Greenwich, St Mary, London County, England.  She died in 1904 in Brand St. West Greenwich, England.  Edward William CALLAWAY II ? and Hannah Kathleen 'Kitty' PURR had the following children:

7.  Edward William (III?) CALLAWAY was born on 4 Sep 1850 in Lower Marsh, London, England.  He died on 25 Jun 1927 in Egg Harbor, Atlantic County, New Jersey.

Edward William (III?) CALLAWAY and Mary MAY were married CA1876 in Egg Harbor, Atlantic County, New Jersey.  Mary MAY was born on 12 Apr 1857.  She died on 10 Jul 1936 in Egg Harbor, Atlantic County, New Jersey.  Edward William (III?) CALLAWAY and Mary MAY had the following children:


8.  William CALLAWAY was born on 8 Sep 1853 in Lower Marsh, London, England.  He appeared in the census in 1880.  He died on 15 Oct 1914 in Papillion, Sarpy Co., NE.  He was buried in Cedar Dale Cemetery, Papillion, Sarpy Co., NE.

William CALLAWAY and Eliza Jane FIELD(S) were married on 7 Jun 1878 in Papillion, Sarpy Co., NE.  Eliza Jane FIELDS (daughter of Thomas Willis FIELD and Armilda STEWART) appeared in the census in 1860 in Platford, Sarpy County, Nebraska.  She was born on 3 Jun 1865 in Bellevue, Sarpy Co., NE.  She Livedin Sarpy Co., NEin 1870  She died on 26 May 1923 in Burlington, Kit Carson Co., CO.  She was buried in Cedar Dale Cem., Papillion, Sarpy Co., NE.  William CALLAWAY and Eliza Jane FIELDS had the following children:

AGER was born in 1859 in Greenwich, London, Eng..  In 1891 he was a Postman Civil.  He appeared in the census in 1901 in 46 Mormont Rd., Camberwell, London County, England.  In 1901 he was an Assistant Hd Postmaster.  He died in England.  Hannah Jane CALLAWAY and Henry G. South East London, Eng..  He was an owner of horsecabs/motor cabs.  Eliza D. CALLAWAY and John BARROW had the following children:
